DREAM RIDE
MONTREUX

When motorcycles take center stage at a legendary festival.

For the Montreux Jazz Festival, Honda wanted to create a motorcycle event in its own right, capable of bringing together two powerful worlds: music culture and a passion for two wheels.

The challenge was twofold: to offer an authentic motorcycle experience while elegantly integrating it into an international cultural event with demanding requirements in terms of image, flow, and logistics.

A bold statement, right in the heart of Montreux.

An event organized during the Montreux Jazz Festival, dozens of motorcycles participating, participants from across the region and beyond, a carefully selected route, and seamless coexistence with one of Europe's most iconic festivals.

The mission of ride&drive

Ride&drive designed and orchestrated the entire Honda Dream Ride: defining the format, designing the route, managing participants, coordinating on the ground, ensuring safety and logistics, and integrating the event into the Montreux Jazz Festival ecosystem.

Our role: to enable Honda to fully exist within a strong cultural context, without ever disrupting it.

What made the difference

A perfect understanding of the event-related constraints associated with an international festival, an ability to bring together motorcycles, music, and the general public, and an organization that is flexible enough to ensure that the motorcycle experience remains central, without ever conflicting with the DNA of the venue.

Anecdote

At the end of the day, the motorcycles returned to the center of Montreux as the first notes began to drift from the festival stages. Helmets in hand, some participants hesitated: should they go home... or stay and enjoy an impromptu concert by the lake?

At that precise moment, the motorcycle was an integral part of the Montreux experience.

The impact

The Honda Dream Ride allowed the brand to naturally become part of the Montreux Jazz Festival universe, creating a credible bridge between culture, lifestyle, and mobility.
An event praised for its originality, fluidity, and ability to offer a different motorcycle experience, outside of traditional formats.
